Dave Dew began forging lasting relationships with manufacturers, dealers and media back in 1987 when he started work with motorcycle industry publisher Emap. A move to Honda UK in 1997, saw Dave head up the Advertising and PR department, working on numerous press launches and media events, establishing an excellent reputation through his now widely-acknowledged ‘can do’ attitude.
It led to the creation of Motocom in 2000 with fellow founders Steve Booth and Julian Clements, with Dave heading up the PR for the Repsol Honda MotoGP Team. Working alongside legends like Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Nicky Hayden and Alex Barros, Dave’s contact book swelled to global proportions, giving Motocom a unique advantage over its peers. Maintaining those contacts and links today, Dave fronts up many of Motocom’s high-profile
clients, from Dainese, to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the recently won Carole Nash Motorcycle Live account. His inexhaustible enthusiasm and a voracious appetite for work mean that he’s also currently active with Bridgestone, Shark, TCX, the Isle of Man TT press office and the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. The list goes on and on…
